Allergy sufferers:

Our apartments with real leather sofa, solid wood furniture and floors are particularly suitable for allergy sufferers. For this reason, pets are forbidden. Please note that your guests will also respect the ban on pets! Thank you for your understanding!

Awning (sun blind):

All apartments are equipped with electric awnings on the courtyard side.

Backhaus Annamühle:

Also recommendable is the Backhaus Annamühle http://www.backhaus-annamuehle.at in the Heiligenkreuzergasse 3-5 (approx. 5 minutes away on foot), Tel.: +43/2252/259411 or in the Schlossgasse 36 (approx. 10 minutes away on foot), Tel.: +43/2252/252687. The costs you incur are to be paid in cash directly on site.

Banks:

Barbecue:

Open fire in the garden or on the terrace is not allowed! We are happy to provide an electric grill for use in the summer on request, depending on availability. See additional equipment. Thank you for your understanding!

Bed linen:

The price includes one set of bed linen per person for a stay of 1-14 days. From a stay of 15 days or more, you will receive a second set at no extra cost. From a stay of 15 days or more, we will provide you with a washing machine directly in your apartment without additional charge.

Bell:

If you are expecting deliveries from DHL, DPD or other parcel delivery companies, please be sure to provide these carriers with your personal phone number. There is no bell directly to your room and there is no reception desk. Alternatively, you can have your deliveries sent to another address.

Bicycle:

Unfortunately, there is no parking space for bicycles. The transport of bicycles into the building (aisle, apartment, inner courtyard) may cause damage to the masonry and is therefore not permitted. Thank you for your understanding!

Breakfast:

If you want to be pampered and don’t want to cook yourself, the city of Baden offers numerous restaurants where you can dine.

Cafe-Konditorei Ullmann:

The Cafe-Konditorei Ullmann, just diagonally across the street at Schlossergässchen 16, offers a choice of a small breakfast and a large breakfast. A current menu of the Kaffehauskonditorei Ullmann can be found in each apartment and is also posted on our bulletin board (blue board). The costs you incur are to be paid in cash directly on site.

Cafe Restaurant Doblhoffpark:

In the immediate vicinity, directly in Pelzgasse 1 and directly at the pond, you will find the Café Restaurant Doblhoffpark, http://www.cafe-doblhoffpark.at, tel.: +43/2252/206 421. From mid-March to mid-November (depending on the weather) you can sit outside until 9 pm in the summer. Café Restaurant Doblhoffpark is closed from mid-November to mid-March. The costs you incur are to be paid in cash directly on site.

Cancellation:

Up to 30 days before arrival: 0% of the rental price, from 29 to 14 days before rental: 50% of the rental price, otherwise (later than 14 days before rental) 100 % of the rental price.

Cemeteries Baden:

The Russian cemetery is next to the city parish cemetery in cemetery street 1. The Russian cemetery is accessible through a gate. The gate is difficult to open, therefore some people believe that the cemetery is blocked and the city garden office administers the key. But this information is wrong. The door is stuck and you have to press against it with force. The urn cemetery is near the Helenen cemetery in Steinbruchgasse 14. This cemetery is also open all year round.

Check-in / arrival:

Check-in takes place on the day of arrival and must be coordinated with us personally at least 48 hours in advance. If possible, other times can also be agreed upon after consultation. We are not always present and have to plan about 40/50 minutes to be there!

Cinema:

Cleaning:

The apartments are handed over to you cleaned. During your stay there is no cleaning by us and we do not offer it.

Please note that we rent self-catering flats and are not a hotel! There are no services offered by us, not even exceptionally! This means for example: there is no (daily) cleaning, we do not provide you with a porter, there is no breakfast, no wake-up service, no reception and so on!

Coffee machine:

All apartments have a filter coffee machine and a Nespresso coffee machine.

Cot:

We are happy to provide cot (60 x 120 cm) and high chair free of charge.

Cots:

A cot (60×120) including bed linen (in the living room) is available on request free of charge!
An extra bed (70×140) including bed linen (in the living room) is available on request free of charge!
An extra youth bed (70×160) including bed linen (in the living room) is available on request free of charge!

Departure:

The flat will be vacated on the day of departure by 09:59 at the latest. Please be sure to observe this time, otherwise we will have to charge you for another day. If possible, other times can also be agreed upon after consultation.

Deposit:

So that the beautiful house remains as long as possible for all residents in a top condition, we ask all our tenants for special attention! Sometimes we collect a deposit. The deposit must be paid either by bank transfer or in cash and will be returned at the end of the rental period.

Dinner:

If you want to be pampered and don’t want to cook yourself, the city of Baden offers numerous restaurants where you can dine.

Doctor:

Drinking water:

Electrical connections:

We would like to inform our international tenants that the power supply in the apartment house ECONTO is 240V/50 Hz.

Electrical smog:

The bedrooms can be switched on and off with a main power switch, if desired during sleeping! This enables you to sleep largely free of electrosmog. Please note that the electric roller blind then cannot be operated (exception: apartment 1b).

Electric blinds:

Electric blinds allow to increase privacy, to keep away the heat on hot summer days and to reduce heating costs in winter. We ask, in order to make life more difficult for possible burglars, to always close the electric blinds during every absence. All apartments are equipped with fly screens and electric blinds on the courtyard side!

Environmental protection:

We ask in the sense of environmental protection to separate the waste and dispose of it correctly. Thank you!For this purpose, the recyclables room is available right at the entrance.We separate according to the guidelines valid in Austria:

  • Red: Paper garbage can, paper and cardboard only
  • Yellow: Yellow bag for plastic / Packaging.
  • Small gray: waste glass: white glass and stained glass together
  • Small gray: metal: cans, lids, packaging made of metal
  • Green: brown organic waste bags with organic waste (only fruit and vegetables, no meat!) put in the Green Box.
  • Dark gray Large: residual waste. Everything else.

Fly screens:

Fly screens allow undisturbed sleeping during night you can sleep at night with open windows because of the peace in Baden! All apartments are equipped with fly screens and electric blinds on the courtyard side!

GTC:

Legal certainty is always an advantage for everyone involved! This is why we have formulated general terms and conditions, which are the basis for renting holiday apartments in Pelz-Gasse 9. These are, of course, perfectly reputable and do not contain any surprises in the small print! The general terms and conditions (GTC) apply to all contracts with Mag. Hannes Ehrntraut, Favoritenstraße 17/22, 1040 Wien concerning the rental of apartments at Pelz-Gasse 9, 2500 Baden and are also available here: http://www.econto.eu/agb available. The general terms and conditions are attached to each of our rental offers.

Guest card:

The Badner Vip card is only available for tenants registered with us as tourists and is available directly in your apartment. With the guest card tourists can enjoy services and offers in and around Baden at a discount, such as admission to the thermal spa Roman thermal baths.

Hairdresser:

The city of Baden also has a few hair studios.

Heating:

Each apartment has its own heating system. This means that you can control the heat in your apartment completely independently from other tenants. (Except room 3a, this is connected with apartment 3b).

Induction hob:

All kitchens / kitchenette are equipped extensively with modern induction hotplates, stove, microwave oven etc. This makes cooking fun! If you prefer a classic hotplate for health purposes (e. g. cardiac pacemaker) or other reasons, please let us know! We will be happy to provide you with a classical hotplate for the duration of your stay at no extra cost!

By default you will receive a key from us. We will be happy to provide you with another key if required!

Maximum rental period:

You are very welcome to stay with us for a long time! However, your maximum stay (with or without prolongation cannot exceed 180 days.

Open-air bath:

see beach bath. In Bad Vöslau there are the crystal baths.

Optional extras:

Certain special accessories are available free of charge or for a small fee. Without any additional costs we can supply you with the following items if required and depending on availability:

  • Additional chairs
  • Additional tableware
  • Non-induction classic hotplate
  • High chair for infants
  • Night light / Baby light
  • Baby diaper pail
  • Espresso coffee maker.

Parking place:

The apartment house is located in the green zone and therefore there is the possibility to park the car on public ground at a reduced price (compared to the blue zone). If you register your main residence with us you have the even cheaper possibility to apply for a special parking permit. https://www.baden.at/ParkenDirectly opposite the apartment house is a public parking lot. Two more public parking spaces can be found in both directions of Pelz-Gasse. In addition, at the end of Pelz-Gasse intersection Helenenstraße (Sauerhofbrücke 6b) is a paid parking. The parking deck Römertherme Baden is located at Gutenbrunnerstraße 2.

Pets:

If possible, we would also like to accommodate our tenants with possible allergies! For this reason, pets are forbidden. Please note that your guests will also respect the ban on pets! Thank you for your understanding!

Pharmacy:

Opening hours: Mon – Fri 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sat 8 a.m. to noon, pharmacy emergency number 1455 (information around the clock).

Playground:

Public transport:

The Badner Bahn http://www.wlb.at goes directly from Josefsplatz to Vienna to the Vienna State Opera. Tickets can be purchased directly in the Citybus, in the Badnerbahn or at the train station.

Repair:

Sometimes something breaks. This is unfortunately the case and need not be inconvenient to anyone. Please inform us of any damage as soon as possible. Please do not try to make repairs yourself! Thank you.

Right around the corner at Brusattiplatz is the famous Roman thermal baths https://www.roemertherme.at Baden. Tel.: +43/2252/45030.

Self-catering apartments:

Please note that we rent self-catering flats and are not a hotel! There are no services offered by us, not even exceptionally! This means for example: there is no (daily) cleaning, we do not provide you with a porter, there is no breakfast, no wake-up service, no reception and so on! There is a staircase leading to the rooms on the upper floor, no lift. Please note that we cannot offer you a luggage carrier, not even as an exception. Ask your taxi driver if he can help you.

Shopping trolley:

Directly in the stairwell you will find a shopping trolley, which you are welcome to borrow.

Shower towels:

The price includes one shower towel and one towel per person for a stay of 1-7 days. For a stay of 8-14 days you will receive a second set without additional costs. From a stay of 15 days or more, we will provide you with a washing machine directly in your apartment without additional charge. Attention: The towels are only for use in our bathroom! It is not allowed to take the towels and shower towels out of our house, e. g. to the thermal baths. Thank you for your understanding!

Smoking:

Please note that the entire apartment house is non-smoking zone! Ashtrays are available in the garden/on the terrace. Please pay attention to smoke and ashes also in the interest of the other residents! Thank you for your understanding!

If you call a cab for longer distances (e.g. Vienna Airport) it is recommended to ask for a fixed price beforehand.

Television:

All apartments and room 3a are equipped with flat screens with modern Internet TV function. The monitors themselves are without tuner. You are welcome to use our satellite system with a tuner provided by yourself. Please note that you will then be subject to GIS. See https://www.gis.at/information/meldepflicht

Tenants with impairments:

The two apartments on the ground floor (1b and 2) are accessible by wheelchair. At the main entrance there is a staircase of about 12 cm in height.

Umbrella:

Should it rain once, we are sorry. You will find an umbrella for your free use directly in the stairwell around the corner!

Washing machine:

From a stay of 15 days or more, we will provide you with a washing machine directly in your apartment without additional charge.

Wifi:

Free LAN and WLAN (with many access points distributed in the house) is available throughout the apartment house. There are three different guest networks, which differ slightly technically. Depending on your personal cell phone configuration, one or the other may be better for you. The network names are: “apartment econto”, “Appartementhaus ECONTO”, “ECONTO”. The access code can be found on the notice board.
